PartnerCentric Beyond Borders: Non-traditional Partnerships

At PartnerCentric, our core purpose is “building meaningful relationships without borders.” We have always kept an eye on the future of our space and have pushed ourselves to innovate. Part of this process involves thinking of our abilities “beyond borders.”

So what does this mean? Traditionally, when you think about the affiliate channel, you think of coupon and loyalty. But there are so many other new and innovative ways to increase brand awareness, build a following and generate sales that still fall under the “paying for performance” umbrella. Below are just three examples of “non-traditional” partnerships we have successfully recruited and employed for our clients to help them stay ahead of the curve and see faster ROI.

Case #1: Card-linked partner relationship drive huge in-store revenue for a top retail client

Dosh is a cashback app that allows you to connect your credit and debit cards, use them where offers are available and get cash back automatically. We drove online traffic in-store via promotions in Dosh’s app for this top retailer to see great results. Since their start with our brand in August 2017, Dosh has driven $334K in in-store revenue for them.

Because this retailer has a large online and in-store presence, they are always interested in driving more in-store conversions which proved to be difficult in 2017 due to the addition of an email submission on their omni promos run by a personalized digital promotions solution. Card-linked partners do NOT promote these offers since their customers are incentivized with cashback/points and not discounts, which allowed us to avoid large YoY decreases for the in-store program.

Case #2: Indi.com – Video Engagement Platform Built for Brands

90% of customers say that product videos help them make purchasing decisions. PartnerCentric launched a customer Brand Ambassador program for a client, where existing customers are invited to create videos about why they love the product. These customer videos (once approved by the client) are uploaded into Indi’s platform and then shared socially by the customer with their friends and family and each gets a reward when their friends complete a sale.

This benefits the client greatly because it doesn’t require additional costs or sending out products to influencers for review since the videos were created by actual happy customers. Additionally, there is easy set up and Indi helped create the copy for emails that were sent to customers.

Our team is able to track success using video data and video approval in Indi’s platform. All sales conversions are tracked using the client’s existing affiliate network.

Case #3– Fyber / Mobile Action Tracking to Gain New Customers

Fyber marketed our client, an app that helps manage and organize teams and groups, through its various relationship with app developers pushing consumers to the app download page and focusing on new team creation inside the app. Our client gained new customers from a non-traditional affiliate source utilizing newly integrated technology with AppsFlyer and a leading technology platform. We measured the number of new teams created utilizing the platform’s integration with our client’s internal Appsflyer tracking.
