Kids Home From School? Five Learning Tools and Endless Activities to Take Advantage of Now

Our team gets it. Even though we have always been a remote organization, there is definitely a wrench thrown in the works when schools close nationwide and we now need to navigate childcare along with business as usual. We sense that you might be in the same boat so we wanted to share some great educational tools (and our own tips!) that we are using to keep our kids engaged, learning and, let’s face it, quiet so we can get some work done.

Doodle with Mo Willems

Daily at 1pm EST

Mo Willems invites you into his studio every day for his lunch doodle. Learners worldwide can draw, doodle and explore new ways of writing by visiting Mo’s studio virtually once a day for the next few weeks. Grab some paper and pencils, pens, or crayons and join Mo to explore ways of writing and making together.

Virtual Tours of 12 Famous Museums and you don’t even have to deal with airport lines!

Cincinnati Zoo Home Safaris

Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

Closing program – (6pm) an astronomy experience, from current topics, to notable items in the night sky. Special opportunities for a “chat with an expert” will be made available as well!

KiwiCrates

KiwiCo provides crates for children ages 0-14+ that include fun activities and projects. Every month (with a subscription), they deliver tools for creative learning.

Want to do some free DIY projects? Kiwico offers those too.
