Head of Influencer/Creator Marketing

A Week in the Life
As the Head of Influencer/Creator Marketing, you will be responsible for building and scaling
PartnerCentric’s Influencer/Creator Marketing service line, collaborating with industry leaders,
and developing strategies that position PartnerCentric as a leader in this space. Your week
might include:
- Monday: Drafting a market positioning strategy for the Influencer/Creator Marketing
service line, including value proposition, messaging, and competitive analysis. - Tuesday: Meeting with an influencer technology platform partner to discuss integration
opportunities and joint go-to-market strategies. Participating in a sales call with a
prospect where influencer marketing is a defined opportunity. - Wednesday: Creating a co-marketing proposal with a current influencer marketing
client, highlighting mutual wins and industry case studies. Reaching out to industry
luminaries to explore speaking opportunities and partnerships. - Thursday: Developing a new pipeline of influencer marketing opportunities, analyzing
trends, and strategizing targeted outreach for potential clients. Engaging with existing
clients to nurture relationships and gather feedback on service offerings. - Friday: Evangelizing PartnerCentric’s Influencer/Creator Marketing value proposition at
an industry webinar or conference. Wrapping up the week by reviewing key metrics,
celebrating wins, and identifying areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
Service Line Leadership
- P&L Ownership: Oversee the financial performance of the Influencer/Creator Marketing
service line, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. - Revenue Growth: Drive and manage a six-figure contribution in net new revenue to the
business through the development and execution of the influencer/creator marketing
service line. - Sales Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of
influencer/creator marketing opportunities, focusing on attracting new clients and
expanding relationships with existing ones. - Strategic Accountability: Align financial, operational, and sales objectives to support
the overall growth and success of the business.
Strategy Development
- Define the market positioning of PartnerCentric’s Influencer/Creator Marketing service,
including messaging, differentiation, and competitive strategy. - Build and execute strategies to attract non-traditional clients for PartnerCentric,
expanding the company’s reach into new markets and focusing on opportunities outside
its traditional core business. - Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer/creator marketing strategy that aligns
with overall business objectives. - Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the influencer and creator space to keep
the brand ahead of competitors. - Act as a forward-thinking leader, setting the strategic direction for the service line and
ensuring its alignment with market opportunities and client needs.
Partnership Management. - Build and nurture relationships with influencer technology platforms, social media
platforms, and industry thought leaders. - Negotiate contracts and manage campaign deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Campaign Execution - Develop and execute strategies to build a robust pipeline of influencer marketing
opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and personal networks. Preference will
be given to candidates who bring a book of business. - Design and oversee creative, impactful, and measurable influencer/creator campaigns
across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). - Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Analytics, to
ensure seamless integration of influencer marketing strategies with broader company
goals.
Team Leadership
- Manage and grow a high-performing team of influencer marketing specialists
- Lead internal training programs to upskill the influencer team on emerging
influencer/creator marketing trends and best practices. - Guide the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to streamline influencer
identification, campaign management, and reporting. - Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team and
across the organization.
Analytics and Reporting
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of influencer marketing
initiatives. - Regularly analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, or a related field, with a
strong understanding of industry trends and best practices. - Demonstrated ability to define and execute market positioning and service line
strategies. - Knowledge of FTC guidelines and industry regulations around sponsored content.
- Immediate credibility with clients, with the ability to be seen as a thought leader on
influencer marketing and provide expert insights to drive client success. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in industry advocacy
and public speaking. - Experience managing client relationships, with a proven ability to nurture accounts and
identify opportunities for collaboration and growth. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of developing and scaling new business
opportunities. - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; advanced
degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Incremental revenue growth driven by the Influencer/Creator Marketing service line,
meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual financial targets. - Growth in client acquisition, including a specific focus on building a pipeline of non-
traditional clients outside PartnerCentric’s core business. - Employee satisfaction and retention within the influencer marketing team
- Engagement metrics with influencer platform partners and industry thought leaders.
- Client satisfaction and retention metrics for influencer marketing services.
- Participation in and impact of co-creation and co-marketing initiatives.
