Account Director

The Account Director is a forward-thinking leader passionate about nurturing client relationships and driving growth. In this capacity, you will lead high-performing account teams and steer clients through PartnerCentric’s comprehensive offerings and cutting-edge technology to amplify growth and enhance ROI from their partner marketing programs. You will be a senior client contact and lead a multi-faceted team of experts to develop tailored strategies for clients that resonate with their unique goals and champion client needs within our agency. Your role is pivotal in empowering our account teams, setting industry excellence, and championing our culture of perpetual innovation and unwavering commitment to client success.


Support New Client Development:

  • Aid sales and marketing initiatives by leveraging existing client relationships to generate references, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Provide current insights and market trends to bolster new client acquisition efforts.
  • Engage in new client pitches as an industry thought leader and expert, ensuring a smooth handover from prospective to active client status.

Client Onboarding:

  • Oversee the client onboarding process, acting as a senior point of contact for the client.
  • Tailor and consult the onboarding process to meet client goals and expectations effectively.
  • Ensure that the agency proactively addresses the client’s needs and feedback, fostering a responsive and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Monitor the onboarding activities and provide guidance to refine best practices, addressing any gaps or opportunities for enhancement.

Client Success:

  • Lead the strategic oversight of program strategies to ensure alignment with client objectives, utilizing performance data and market trends to guide optimization efforts.
  • Oversee the tracking and analysis of campaign performance, ensuring quality and regulatory adherence while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Empower Account Managers with the tools and knowledge necessary for effective campaign management and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the agency.
  • Conduct internal reviews to evaluate campaign effectiveness, integrate client feedback for bespoke strategy development, and maintain alignment with the client’s long-term marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and consult on budget and resource allocation to maximize campaign performance and growth potential.
  • Consistently demonstrate the agency’s value through regular business reviews, presenting innovative solutions, and educating clients on emerging trends.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for reporting and strategic decision-making.
  • Proactively address client concerns and offer solutions to safeguard and amplify their interests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing services, with a strong preference for those with affiliate marketing expertise.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with demonstrated success in team growth and professional development.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and scaling strategic client accounts within a dynamic marketing environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience in mentoring and developing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in engaging and influencing senior executives and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with digital marketing platforms and advanced analytical tools, with the ability to leverage these technologies to drive campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Expertise in identifying and capitalizing on market trends to create strategic marketing opportunities that align with client goals.
  • Advanced project management capabilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading multiple complex projects in a dynamic marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in affiliate and partner marketing, with an in-depth understanding of performance metrics and optimization strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive client success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • The ability to innovate and present new marketing solutions and technologies that keep the agency and clients at the forefront of the industry.
